Syed Aamir, a young entrepreneur from Lucknow, is the founder of Chikan Libas, a fashion brand built with a strong connection to the city’s rich cultural heritage and its world-renowned Chikankari craftsmanship. His entrepreneurial journey reflects a simple yet meaningful idea—to bring the beauty of Lucknowi Chikankari into contemporary fashion while making it accessible to a wider audience.

With Chikan Libas, Syed Aamir is working towards creating a brand that represents the spirit of “Made in Lucknow.”His focus is on offering thoughtfully designed Chikankari collections for women, men, and children, combining traditional craftsmanship with styles that suit today’s customers. The brand aims to provide good-quality, elegant Chikankari at *moderate and accessible prices*, making the craft available to a broader section of society.

One of the distinctive aspects of Syed Aamir’s vision is his desire to take Chikankari beyond its conventional boundaries. He believes that this beautiful art form should not be restricted only to traditional ethnic clothing. His vision is to introduce Chikankari in both ethnic and Western wear creating contemporary silhouettes and everyday styles while retaining the essence of Lucknow’s traditional embroidery. This includes exploring modern shirts, dresses, tops, jackets, co-ord sets and other contemporary designs alongside classic ethnic collections.
